Currently, Caledon Card Services is accepting resumes for the positions listed below:

Controller

Basic Function:

This hands-on position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the performance of the company’s reported financial results.

Additional Functions:

The successful candidate will also be accountable for office and facilities administration.

Principal Accountabilities:

•    Provide all assistance needed for the annual audit
•    Ensure that payables are paid in a timely manner
•    Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
•    Provide for a system of management cost reports
•    Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
•    Issue timely and complete monthly financial statements
•    Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
•    Provide financial analyses as needed
•    Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
•    Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a small to medium sized enterprise.  Preference will be given to candidates with the CGA or CMA designations.
