1983 - Caledon Computer Systems Inc. founded from the ashes of CCM and The Computer Software Company of Virginia
1985 - Developed a mainframe security system for NARDAC, an arm of the US Navy
1986 - Built North America’s first networked automated call centre with real time credit card authorization capability
1989 - Developed a batch based credit card settlement solution for the hospitality industry
1990 - Developed and managed a report delivery system for Bank of Montreal’s participation in Interac’s pilot program
1994 - Developed a high speed batch based payment processing system for credit card authorizations and settlements
1996 - Processed Canada’s first web originated credit card transaction
1997 - Established the Caledon Card Services division
2002 - Developed Canada’s first convenience fee based hosted payment page website for utility company payments
2005 - Became the first level 1 PCI compliant certified processor in Canada
2005 - Became an ISO/MSP for Elavon
2009 - Became an ISO/MSP for First Data
2010 - We are directly sponsored into Visa and Mastercard through Peoples Trust
